The Board of Directors has designated sustainable business practices as an integral part of the Company’s corporate strategy. To ensure effective oversight at the policy level, the Board has established the Sustainability and Risk Management Committee, and appointed a Sustainability Working Team to drive implementation at the operational level in alignment with the Company’s ESG direction, strategy, and targets.
In this regard, the Board has appointed Adisak Ruckariyapong, Director, to serve as Chair of the Sustainability Working Team, with specific oversight of climate change matters. This structure ensures that sustainability initiatives are strategically guided and aligned with the Company’s overall sustainable development framework
The roles and responsibilities cover the formulation of strategies and operational guidelines related to climate, the development and implementation of greenhouse gas reduction plans, management of transition risks and physical risks, as well as promoting the use of alternative energy and seeking innovations to continuously and sustainably reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Progress is regularly monitored and reported to the Board of Directors. The structure of the Sustainability Working Team is as follows.
