The Company’s manufacturing facilities are certified under

ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System)

which is an occupational health and safety management system aimed at preventing work-related injuries and illnesses,

while enhancing operational standards in alignment

with international best practices.

The Company targets zero workplace accidents (Zero Accident) as a key performance objective, reflecting its commitment to preventing work-related injuries and promoting a safe working environment.

The Company conducts regular assessments of risks, opportunities, and safety, occupational health, and environmental incidents, including prior to the commencement of projects and new operations. The Company also supports risk reduction in accordance with the hierarchy of controls.
These practices aim to establish proactive measures to prevent workplace accidents and work-related illnesses, while promoting a safe and healthy working environment for employees and relevant stakeholders, and safeguarding life, assets, and the environment.
In addition, the Company is committed to the efficient use of resources to minimize impacts on natural resources and to promote the physical and mental well-being and quality of life of employees and relevant stakeholders.

The Company promotes employee engagement in fostering a sustainable safety culture through proactive safety initiatives, including workplace hazard identification and the systematic communication of safety lessons learned to employees on a regular basis.
The Company ensures that safety policies and procedures are communicated to contractors and relevant stakeholders prior to commencing work within Company premises. A work permit system is implemented to ensure that contractors and suppliers comply with the Company’s occupational health and safety requirements and established safety standards.

Safety Training and Knowledge Development

SAPPE provides mandatory safety training in accordance with applicable legal requirements for employees based on their job roles and responsibilities, including:
     – Safety Officer Training at Supervisory Level
     – Safety Officer Training at Management Level
     – Safe Forklift Operation Training
In addition, the Company conducts annual fire evacuation drills at both office and manufacturing sites, with 100% employee participation. These initiatives are implemented to ensure operational readiness and effective response to emergency situations.

Preventive Measures and Continuous Improvement

In the event of a workplace accident, the Company provides appropriate care and remediation for affected employees, and conducts thorough investigations to determine root causes. Corrective and preventive actions are then implemented to prevent recurrence.
The Company is committed to the continuous development and improvement of its occupational health and safety management system, including management processes, training programmers, and the application of technology for monitoring and accident prevention. These initiatives aim to strengthen a sustainable safety culture across the organization.
