After winning several awards from various awarding events, SAPPE CEO Piyajit Ruckariyapong, has recently been honored with ‘Best CEO Awards’, the most prestigious award of Thai capital market. She has become the first female CEO to receive double individual awards from the SET Awards event. In 2017, Ms. Piyajit won ‘Young Rising Star CEO Awards’, which clearly reflected her outstanding management capability in all dimensions. The achievement was also underlined with three more awards; Best Company Performance, Outstanding CEO and Outstanding Company Performance to certify a visionary leader who led the firm to success.
Chief Executive Officer of Sappe Public Company Limited (SAPPE), Ms. Piyajit Ruckariyapong, received Best CEO Awards from the SET Awards 2023 organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) in collaboration with Money & Banking Magazine. The award presentation ceremony was presided over by SET President Dr. Pakorn Peetathawatchai. The awards are regarded as honorable prizes of the Thai capital market’s achievement given to the chief executives with remarkable ability in driving the organizations, fostering business growth, and increasing competitiveness. The award-winning CEOs have been recognized for adhering to moral principles in management, being visionary leaders, paying attention to investor relations activities, and being ready to support sustainability for the business and society as well as leading the organizations to achieve sustainable success.
This year, SET held the SET Awards to celebrate its 20th anniversary under the concept ‘Benchmark of Excellence’, underscoring the awards of Excellence to constantly elevate the Thai capital market. The shortlist included 10 CEOs for Best CEO Awards, 79 listed companies for the Business Awards and 50 companies for Sustainability Excellence Awards.
SAPPE also won more prominent prizes including Best Company Performance Awards in the category of listed companies with a market capitalization of more than 10 billion baht but not exceeding 30 billion baht. The awards were given to companies with outstanding operating results, good corporate governance, completed information disclosure and have the intention to run business sustainably. The ‘Outstanding CEO Awards’ were other awards to honor the company Chief Executive Officers with excellent leadership and be able to lead the organizations to success. The winning CEOs are committed to holding morality in business management, having good visions and strategic ability as well as focusing on investor relations activities. They also placed importance on society and business that stably support creating sustainability for the enterprise.
The other honor for SAPPE was ‘Outstanding Company Performance Awards’ given to the SET listed companies with a market capitalization of more than 10 billion baht but not over 30 billion baht at excellent level. The total four awards from SET Awards 2023 demonstrated SAPPE’s potential of making distinguished performance and emphasizing the strong determination for being a leader in manufacturing and distributing innovative food and beverage to better the consumers’ quality of life.
