SAPPE holds meeting with Wan Wan Wan’ project members, integrates 3 powers to build on knowledge as it enters 7th year

Chairman of Executive Committee of Sappe Public Company Limited (SAPPE), Mr. Adisak Ruckariyaphong, who is also the Sustainable Committee Chairman, held a meeting with the ‘Wan Wan Wan’ members to integrate forces of three parties: SAPPE, the community around SAPPE factory at Khlong 13 in Lam Luk Ka district and the suppliers who produce aloe vera materials, in enhancing the aloe vera project. The recent activity was organized to share knowledge and experiences in harvesting quality aloe vera and to discuss the plan to grow organic aloe vera as preparation for the future market. It is part of the Wan Wan Wan project in which SAPPE has been working with the local community for several years and entered its 7th year. The Wan Wan Wan project is one of SAPPE’s proud projects. The company has been providing sprouts, teaching the members how to grow and care for the aloe vera plants to have a good-quality output for the production, and buying yields from the local community members to strengthen their income. SAPPE participates in “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” event organized by SET and UN Women, affirms standpoint as organization that runs business with equality throughout supply chain

Miss Piyajit Ruckariyapong, Chief Executive Officer of Sappe Public Company Limited (SAPPE), which won the first runner-up prize in the Gender-Responsive Marketplace category from the UN Women 2022 Thailand WEPs Awards, participated the “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” event held as a driving force to encourage the private sector to promote gender equality. The SAPPE CEO also jointly celebrated the economic, political and social success of women around the world on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2023 at the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) building. Ms. Piyajit said SAPPE was proud to be part of the “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” event as the company has been emphasizing on all stakeholders throughout the supply chain. SAPPE donates products, relief packages to flood victims

Mr. Adisak Ruckariyaphong, Chairman of Sappe’s Sustainable Committee, together with Chief Operating Officer Mr. Arnupap Ruckariyapong and SAPPE team prepare to visit flood-hit areas in Pathum Thani province to provide assistance for people from 120 households who have been affected by floods. The team will hand over 24,000 bottles of SAPPE’s drink products to flood victims through volunteer groups which act as a center to distribute relief packages and items to flood-hit people in Chai Nat, Lop Buri, Sing Buri and Nakhon Sawan provinces. Sappe extends moral support for COVID-19 patients with 60,000 bottles of SAPPE x TAKABB functional drink

Sappe Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Piyajit Ruckariyapong, gave functional shot product, SAPPE x TAKABB, a herbal drink which helps ease sore throat and cough, to hospitals and a number of organizations, including the ‘Unifying Listed Companies to Communities’ project. The project is a collaboration among member companies of the Thai Listed Companies Association (TLCA), including Sappe, to provide assistance for those affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. The 60,000 bottles of SAPPE x TAKABB worth 1,740,000 baht were part of the company’s effort to help relieve throat irritation for COVID-19 patients and medical staff. In the past four months, Sappe’s CSR team visited and donated around 600,000 refreshment bottles, worth 12 million baht, to a number of hospitals, field hospitals, village public health centers, isolation centers, communities, foundations and volunteer groups. The team also distributed 1,000 relief supplies bags to the homeless in the Ratchadamnoen, Hua Lamphong and Khlong Toey areas directly. Sappe and Toyox provide relief supplies bags for homeless people

Mr. Adisak Ruckariyaphong, Chairman of Sappe’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, together with the company’s CSR members and the team from Toyox Trading (Thailand) Co. Ltd. distributed relief supplies bags to the homeless in several areas in Bangkok. Wearing full-PPE suits, the joint team of Sappe and Toyox gave 1,000 relief supplies bags plus 700 food boxes and chili paste to the homeless and residents in the Ratchadamnoen Avenue, Hua Lamphong and Khlong Toey areas, which are hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the resurgence of COVID-19 four months ago, the Sappe CSR team has been extending support to medical staff and patients with around 600,000 bottles of company products, which were allocated to hospitals, communities and relevant organizations. Sappe continues supporting medical personnel and communities with brand products

  Sappe Chairman of Executive Committee, Mr. Adisak Ruckariyaphong led the company’s CSR team to give refreshment products to four civic groups and organizations in Bangkok to show its support in the fight against COVID-19. The first stop was ‘Yindee Club’ Facebook page which sends its staff to distribute food and supplies in need for the homeless and jobless people, who are affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, through community leaders. Yindee Club has been collaborating with two popular Facebook pages, ‘Up for Thai’, known in Thai as Tong Rod, and ‘Mor Lab Panda’ in helping those who suffer from the pandemic. The 150 product cartons were received by Yindee Entertainment Chairman Mr. Panjaruj Arunkhirivich and committee member Ms. Minrayaporn Somnongkham. All items were delivered to dwellers in a Rama 2 community, the Mirror Foundation and a community along the port rail route in the Khlong Toey area. Sappe gives relief supplies to victims of plastic factory fire in Samut Prakan province

Sappe PCL visited shelters for local residents, who were affected by a fire at Ming Dih Chemical Company factory in the King Kaew area, to give them moral support and products. A total of 215 cartons of products were handed to both rescuers and the fire victims who were forced to leave their houses due to the fire. The Sappe team gave the products to the Ruamkatanyu Foundation at King Kaew which sent rescuers to help both firefighters and the victims. The team later provided relief supplies to four temporary shelters in the area at the Bang Phli Yai subdistrict administration organization, Bang Phli Yai Nai temple, Triam Parinyanuson school and Lannaboon temple. Sappe provides beverage products to support medical teams at Srinakharinwirot vaccination center and Ongkharak Hospital

Sappe PCL continued giving moral support to medical teams, who are fighting against COVID-19. The company’s representatives visited Srinakharinwirot University’s vaccination center at Ongkharak Campus to hand 150 cartons of beverage products for the medical staff and people who come to get vaccines. The supplies were received by Asst. Prof. Acting 2nd Lt. Dr. Kittikoon Rungruang, Vice President for Ongkharak Campus and Physical Development, and university officials. The Sappe team later went to Ongkharak Hospital to give 250 cartons of products to its director Dr. Sayan Ruangkittikul and hospital officials. Sappe provides paper boxes to Thailand Post in ‘reBOX’ campaign

Sappe PCL took part in the ‘reBOX’ campaign initiated by Thailand Post to turn unused paper boxes or envelopes into surgical masks for hospitals as Box Bun (merit box). Sappe Chairman of Executive Committee, Mr. Adisak Ruckariyaphong, donated one ton of boxes from the company’s production to Thailand Post represented by Dr. Waraporn Kongkiawpan Executive Vice President on strategy, and Mr. Samrueng Chuensiri, Executive Vice President on regional operation 2. The box donation from Sappe will continue until the end of October as the company has a strong determination to be part of the mission led by Thailand Post in social contribution. The boxes and envelopes will be turned into cash, which will be used to produce surgical masks.
