SAPPE Participates in “CSCAP – Climate and Sustainability Capital Forum @ United Nations” Advancing the Agenda of Sustainable Production and Consumption at the United Nations, Bangkok

Sappe Public Company Limited (SAPPE) participated in the United Nations regional collaboration platform “CSCAP – Climate and Sustainability Capital Forum @ United Nations” held at the United Nations Conference Centre (UN ESCAP), Bangkok. The event aimed to advance the goal of sustainable production and consumption under the theme “Our Future Capital,” which focuses on promoting a green economy and sustainable investment (Sustainable Consumption and Production: SCP) across the Asia-Pacific region.

Ms. Natcha Uanpaeng, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications Division Manager at Sappe Public Company Limited, attended the forum as a representative of Thailand’s private sector to engage with emerging policy directions on sustainable production, procurement, and supply chains under the United Nations framework. She also received a commemorative medal from Sustainism (stnsm.org) in recognition of SAPPE’s role as a partner organization supporting regional sustainability advancement.

The CSCAP – Climate and Sustainability Capital Forum serves as a pivotal international platform bringing together banks, institutional investors, financial leaders, sustainability-driven buyers, and government agencies from multiple countries to shape direction and accelerate collective ESG action. The forum also provided an opportunity for participating businesses to exchange insights on the latest sustainable finance and investment standards, strengthen strategic collaboration with global investors and leading financial institutions, and drive the future of capital growth through sustainability driven practices.

The event was organized by the Agricultural and Food Marketing Association for Asia and the Pacific (AFMA) of the United Nations (UN) an intergovernmental organization working in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (UN FAO) together with the Sustainism Initiative (stnsm.org) and Thailand’s Department of Climate Change and Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. It was held under the framework of the SSA – Sustainable Supply Chains and Procurement Alliance, which aims to bridge policies, capital, and key stakeholders to drive sustainable procurement and supply-chain systems across the region.
