SAPPE Shares Knowledge with Young People Through a Hands-On Nata de Coco Liquid Fertiliser Workshop
Sappe Public Company Limited, or SAPPE, continued its commitment to sharing knowledge with young people through its “Knowledge for the Community” project. The SAPPE Sustainability Team organised hands-on learning activities at Wat Phuet Udom School and Ruamjai Prasit School in Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani. Both schools are located in communities near SAPPE’s factory.
During the activities, students learned how to make fermented liquid fertiliser from nata de coco through hands-on practice. The workshop also helped them understand how leftover natural materials can be put to good use and transformed into something of greater value.
The activity encouraged students to apply their new knowledge to agricultural plots at their schools and in their daily lives. It also promoted the responsible use of resources, reduced material waste and demonstrated how value can be created from everyday materials.
SAPPE believes that “sharing knowledge means sharing opportunities.” Creating learning opportunities for young people not only equips them with practical skills but also lays the foundation for them to contribute to the sustainable development of their communities and the environment.
