SAPPE Continues “SAPPE Eye Care” for the Second Consecutive Year, Providing Free Eye Examinations to the Community Expanding Access to Healthcare and Improving Community Quality of Life
Mr. Adisak Ruckariyapong, Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Sustainability Working Team of SAPPE Public Company Limited, or SAPPE, joined forces with the People Eye Care Foundation and local partners, including Phuet Udom Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Village Health Volunteers and the Phuet Udom community, to organize “SAPPE Eye Care” for the second consecutive year.
As part of the initiative, SAPPE delivered community healthcare support valued at more than THB 310,000 to promote comprehensive eye care for residents of the Phuet Udom community in Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province. The activity was recently held at Phuet Udom Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital.
Following the positive response received in the previous year, SAPPE continued the “SAPPE Eye Care” project for a second year to expand access to essential eye care services for people in the community.
The event provided free comprehensive eye health screenings, including visual acuity tests, intraocular pressure measurements, screenings for potential eye diseases, examinations and diagnoses by specialist ophthalmologists, as well as free prescription eyeglasses.
These services help community members identify potential eye conditions at an early stage, improving their opportunities to receive timely treatment while promoting preventive healthcare and expanding continuous access to quality medical services.
