Mr. Adisak Ruckariyapong (left), Chief Executive Officer and Head of the Sustainability Working Team of Sappe Public Company Limited or SAPPE, continues the company’s commitment to social contribution by donating 1,600 cases of SAPPE products, worth nearly THB 1 million, to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s BKK FOOD BANK project. The products will be distributed to people in all 50 districts across Bangkok. Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt (center), Governor of Bangkok, received the donation on behalf of the project.
This support forms part of the BKK FOOD BANK initiative, which was established to assist vulnerable groups and help reduce food waste in Bangkok. Acting as a “food bank,” the project collects safe and quality food products, including dry food, raw ingredients, fruits, vegetables, and ready-to-eat meals from private companies, restaurants, hotels, department stores, and the general public, and redistributes them to vulnerable communities, low-income groups, people with disabilities, and the elderly.
Through this initiative, SAPPE aims to help promote equal access to food while continuing to support the sustainable development of society and the environment.
